Over the last few days, we’ve brought you pictures of the Nissan GT-R during testing in the U.S. First, the Nissan’s supercar was caught during a fuel stop in New Mexico. Then the GT-R was spotted on the California freeways near Nissan’s former U.S. headquarters.
Now, after a several days of stakeouts, Edmunds captured new spy shots and the first spy video of the Skyline GT-R during its U.S. testing. Like always, when the Skyline GT-R is out testing, a Porsche 911 Turbo is never far away.
While the interior remains shrouded in camouflage, Edmunds was able to spot a pair of steering-wheel-mounted paddle shifters. This GT-R is equipped with either an automatic or a dual-clutch DSG-like gearbox. We’re betting on a dual-clutch transmission.
The Nissan GT-R will get its world premiere on stage at the 2007 Tokyo Auto Show this fall.
